It's time to begin. Isn't it? I get a little bit bigger but then I'll admit I'm just the same as I was. Now don't you understand that I'm never changing who I am.

Glee is back and the Klainebows are shining brighter than ever. Life makes sense again. :D

The choreography for this song is genius and can I just say that the Klaine hug at the end is a beautiful start to a beautiful new season. I'm so happy I could skip. Or better yet...double dutch.

I freaking love youtubers. They are some of the most talented people I have ever heard. They deserve so much more recognition then they are already getting. That's why I like to share the lovely youtubers that I find.

So for you viewing pleasure, I present Savannah Outen (who retweeted one of my tweets!), Corey Gray, and Jake Coco singing Phillip Phillips' lovely song "Home". These guys sound gorgeous together. Team USA

There are tons of athletes that should be mentioned in this post, but since the Olympics aren't over yet and there is plenty more medals and victory dances to go around, I thought that I would mention my favorite event to watch: Swimming

So another Olympic swimming week has come and gone but Team USA has come out shining.

With the help of:  Phelps, Franklin, Schmidt, Lochte, Vollmer, Adrian, Grevers, Soni, Jones, Thoman, Berens, Handsen, Hardy, Beisel, McGill, Bootsma, Shanteau, Tarwater, Houchin, Anderson, Vreeland, Dwyer, Perdue, McLean, Ledecky, Donahue, Lezak, Feigen, Vanderkaay, Weir, Neal, Coughlin and Leverenz, Team USA brought home 30 Medals. 6 of them Bronze, 8 of them Silver and 16 of them were dripping in Gold.

 I am proud to be an American and I am very proud of these men and women.

The Most Decorated Olympian of All Time

It's something unpredictable but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life

Never again will we see Michael Phelps perform on the Olympic stage.

However, he has had one hell of a career.
18 Gold Medals,
2 Silver Medals
2 Bronze Medals
Totaling 22 Olympic Medals.
He's also 3-peated TWICE, in the 200m Individual Medley and the 100m Fly, making him the first male Olympian to win 3 consecutive events.

And to think that this all started when Michael met his long-time coach Bob Bowman when he was just 11 years old. 

He's not known as the most decorated Olympian of all time for nothing.

It will be weird not to see that signature pre-race shoulder slap. I will forever be a Phelps Phan. :D

After everything was said and done and Michael accepted his last Gold Medal of his career, FINA, Swimming's international governing body, gave him a trophy inscribed with the words: "Michael Phelps" and "The Greatest Olympian of All Time" 

"I can look back on my career and hang my suit up and say I've done everything that I've wanted to do. And that is the only thing that I wanted to be able to say when I retire" - Michael Phelps.  

I'll miss this beast of a man and his how much joy he has given me by competing in the Olympics. But I think I should follow Dr. Suess's words and "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." 

I'm so proud of you Michael and I wish you the best at whatever you set your mind to next. 

The Hero Gotham Deserves

"The Dark Knight Rises" is by far the most fantastical superhero movie I have ever seen. I bow down to Christopher Nolan for creating such a magnificent final film for the trilogy.

He's the hero Gotham deserves. 

He's a watchful guardian. 

A silent protector. 

A Dark Knight.
