Irksome

I hate when people ask: "So...what do you want to be when you grow up?". I'm 22 years old and until I'm out of college and have a "job", I will continue to be asked that question. I know people are legitimately curious (or just asking because they feel like that's what they're supposed to ask to sound like they're even remotely interested in my life because of who I am in relation to my parents or friends my age) but it still really irks me.

I hate that question almost as much as the statement: "Wow, you do not look [insert any age between 16-22]. You look so young".

Maybe  I'll appreciate that latter statement when I'm 40...or maybe I won't.

Sensitive Guys 101

There are some really sensitive guys out there. It almost brings a tear to my eye just how sensitive they are. They sensitivity is just so...ya know....sensitive.

And Josh Hutcherson is one of those sensitive guys. Sigh...

I just want to give this sensitive guy the most sensitive hug there is, but Josh Horowitz beat me to it. Darn it. At least, as a sensitive guy, he will apologize for line cutting. Although I'm pretty surprised that J Horowitz would even line cut being a sensitive guy himself. I guess he needs to take a few tips from J Hutch about sensitivity.

Change the World

I always have a really hard time coming up with resolutions each year (or better yet keeping those resolutions) so I thought I would steal of few from one the greatest minds of our generation. Gandhi.

I think we can all follow his lead. (btw, his name is spelled wrong on this image) Just sayin'

If You're Going Through Hell, Keep Going

I just spent the last few minutes going through this person's blog because they had a bunch of posts about Teen Wolf and I miss that show so much that I want to cry a little. (Gosh, I'm going through withdrawal) And the title of the blog is: The One Keeping You Alive

And that really got me thinking about how not only recently but all the time there are things that people are going through and it can get to a point where they feel like they have nothing left to do except not live anymore. And it's sad to think about that people need to be reminded that they have a life worth living but I'm going to do just that.

It's not enough to just simply survive. Find something that makes you want to have a life. Something that makes you feel alive. That makes you want to stay alive. Anything. Because your life is precious and you deserve to live it and be happy.

And as the wonderful Stiles from Teen Wolf says it best: If you're going through Hell, keep going.

Body Love

This just totally needs to be shared all over the world, all day, errday.

This is Mary Lambert and this is her poem/slam/guitar playing/awesomness called "Body Love"

She really says all that needs to be said.

Love your body. It's the most beautiful thing we can call our own.

You're My Sweet Heart

I don't know where I belong. I don't know where I went wrong. But I can write a song...

So the wonderful youtubers are at it again.

Here is a beautiful cover of Lumineers song "Ho Hey" done by the lovely Tyler Ward and the equally lovely Alex G. They have such beautiful voices and I always love love love their duets together. (You should totally subscribe to their pages because they are amazing and are currently on tour so check that out as well)

Oh and if you love the song (which you will) go buy their version on iTunes! It really helps them out a lot! Gotta show that support. :D

Ho Hey

And can I just say that Tyler's face at 0:47 is priceless. It makes me go all jelliod. Hehe. :D
