Friday, June 29th, 2012 was one of the best nights of my life. I would like to thank Summerfest, awesome friends, fellow music lovers and most of all, I would like to thank FUN.
Those boys are amazing performers and seeing them live was an experience I will never forget. Sheer perfection.
Didn't get pictures but this is pretty much what our stage looked like
And I think this goes without saying but I have to say it anyways. Nate Ruess is a God in a yellow t-shirt.
Yup. It's pretty much like I got pictures because he wore this shirt for us.
If you're not already infatuated by Fun. you should be. They are so talented and so charismatic that it is impossible not to love their sound, their phenomenal voices and their wonderful humility.
Through the sorrow and the fights, don't you worry cuz everything's gonna be alright.
I just had to share this video because not only is "Be Alright" my favorite song off of Justin's album "Believe" but because he wrote it for Selena. Not only that, she was there for his performance at the Apollo theatre and was singing along with him. It's so sweet I want to die. :D
Justin Bieber is one of those people who not only knows where he's going but he also knows where he came from. He constantly reaches out to the people who have made him who he is. He always wants to do free concerts, meet as many fans and take pictures as possible, he reaches out to children in need who have nothing near what he has. Justin knows what it means to be a good man. He also knows what it means to believe.
So go out and get his album Believe. Who knows, it might just make you a Belieber.
"Believe" is for the Beliebers because we will always believe in Justin Bieber.
I don't know how I got here
I knew it wouldn't be easy
But your faith in me was so clear
It didn't matter how many times I got knocked on the floor
But you knew one day I would be standing tall
Just look at me now
Cuz everything starts from something
But something would be nothing
Nothing if your heart didn't dream with me
Where would I be if you didn't believe?
There were days when I was just broken
There were nights when I was doubting myself
But you kept my heart from folding
It didn't matter how many times I got knocked on the floor
This life is a difficult one. But it's the only one we've got. We might as well make the most of it.
And since we have all this time on our hands, we might as well not rush into it too much.
Surround yourself with the people who bring out the best you. Find a career that wills you to get up in the morning. Save your heart, for there is always someone worth waiting for.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is going to be the most
beautiful movie ever. This book has had an enormous impact on my life and I cannot wait to see it come to life on the big screen.
Charlie, Sam and Patrick are some of the most interesting people I have ever had the pleasure of discovering. Give them the chance to show you who they really are and you may just discover things you didn't know about yourself. Once you take a ride with them you will feel infinite.
"I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there"
Some songs just have the perfect lyrics. They just say everything that needs to be said. "You Get What You Give" is one of those songs.
Wake up kids
We've got the dreamers disease
Age 14 we got you down on your knees
So polite, you're busy still saying please
Frienemies, who when you're down ain't your friend
Every night we smash their Mercedes-Benz
First we run and then we laugh till we cry
But when the night is falling
You cannot find the light, light
If you feel your dreams are dying
Hold tight
You've got the music in you
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
One dance left
This world is gonna pull through
Don't give up
You've got a reason to live
Can't forget
We only get what we give
I'm coming home, baby
You're tops
Give it to me now
Four a.m. we ran a miracle mile
We're flat broke but hey we do it in style
The bad rich
God's flying in for your trial
But when the night is falling
You cannot find a friend, friend
You feel your tree is breaking
Just then
You've got the music in you
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
One dance left
This world is gonna pull through
Don't give up
You've got a reason to live
Can't forget
We only get what we give
This whole damn world can fall apart
You'll be ok, follow your heart
You're in harms way I'm right behind
Now say you're mine
You've got the music in you
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
One dance left
This world is gonna pull through
Don't give up
You've got a reason to live
Can't forget
We only get what we give
Don't let go
I feel the music in you
Fly high, high
What's real can't die
You only get what you give
You gonna get what you give
Just don't be afraid to leave
Health insurance rip off lying
FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney love and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your ass in
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
Don't give up
You've got the music in you
You've got the music in you
